Maintenance Schedule

This section is designed for anyone with questions on when to service their diesel pickup.

Oil Changes | Fuel Filters | Transmissions | Differentials | Air Filters

Oil Changes

Depending on how much towing you do or the severity of your driving conditions: Every 3,000 to 7,500 miles

Fuel Filters

Every 10,000 miles ALWAYS. Due to the new fuel this is a MUST!

Transmissions

Your automatic transmission should be serviced every 10,000 to 15,000 miles. If you tow a lot, this is crucial. We hear a lot of guys complain about their transmission but they service them every 30,000 miles. Your transmission fluid lubricates and cools your transmission the same as your engine oil. Change it regularly for trouble free service.

Differentials

Your differentials are probably the most overlooked components of your diesel drivetrain. These need regular service every 15,000 miles if you tow a lot to 25,000 miles for less severe driving.

Air Filters

Just check them! Every time you get fuel pop the hood and take a look.
